Unlike all GW2-stuff, login into GW1 is NOT possible since early 2017 and I refuse to register credit card details about myself just to get a support ticket through to the hack-fest known as Arenanet. Having/had a coupled account for GW1/GW2 working for year’s and also having the two-step verification/authenticator active at least since HoT was released, I expect GW1-login to work, but it doesn’t. Why isn’t it! What’s the problem?

There is no requirement for credit card details to submit a ticket to the CS Team. In fact, you can submit a ticket anonymously.

Just use the ‘Support’ link above, and choose ‘Submit Ticket Anonymously’, or log-in to your account, if you prefer.

Only a few details on the web-form are mandatory.

If you selected a different password for GW2 than you used in GW1 and have linked both accounts, GW1 now uses your GW2 password instead of the old one.

I logged into GW1 a couple times earlier in the month. Did you remember to enter a name of a character on your GW1 account?
