Logitech G35 Headset problems...
I don’t have logitech G35, but do you have the included software setup correctly for surround sound?
I use creative lab sound blaster with my ATH-AD700. For simulated headphone surround sound, the system audio needs to be set to output 5.1 audio, and inside creative lab console I need to enable “optimize for headphone” If I don’t do that I can’t hear all the channels.

Yes, the software is set up correctly. It’s a known issue for some of Logitech’s gaming headsets to behave like this, but there have been some fixes for some people and maybe one suggested here will work for me.
I have a G930 which is just the wireless version so I think my fix should apply to yours as well. My headset kept refusing to do surround sound for the longest time and apparently it was because the new drivers are kitten with some models so I downloaded the old drivers. Here are the ones for your model http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Headphones-Headsets-Microphones/Need-old-G35-drivers-please/td-p/706810
To fix your problem using those drivers simply turn on the advanced equalizer and leave it on the default settings. Also make sure that your headset is selected in the sound options panel in game. Hope this helps!
