Logitech G500s
When i had g700, it did not recognize buttons either. Had to bind them to keyboard and then make ‘macros’ on the mouse to include them.
My G400s worked fine (used a side button for left click but ironically my left click still got broken after 9 months of use lol).

I’ve bound the mouse buttons to keyboard buttons (F5 -F9) in the Logitech Gaming Software. What do you mean by making macros on the mouse?
Thanks
I have a G500 mouse (not sure if it’s the “s” version). What I did was disable the Logitech mouse software from running at start-up – you don’t really need it.
My mouse 5 button is ‘autorun’ and my mouse 4 button is ‘dodge’. You can disable the Logitech software by using MSCONFIG:
My G500 works fine, You don’t need any of the mouse software as the mouse keeps all the settings in it’s memory. I use the logitech gaming software for my g15 and the mouse is in it but I had it checked to use the onboard settings.
Im useing G500S and all my buttons work just fine, you have to do is to get Logitech Gaming Software, and set the buttons as you like.
