I just noticed this today, have been gone a few weeks off game. Are the loading screens taking longer to load?

They are for me, but it’s not too surprising since my PC is pretty old.

Well see mine is only a year 2 years old and I never had this problem before. It is not like minutes longer but I can tell it is a little longer. I just wanted to make sure if it was just me or not.

I’m not sure why, but mine has gone from about 20 to 30 seconds to 45 to 55 seconds.

Again though, my HDD runs quite a bit slower (1.5 Gbps) compared to much newer machines. That’s because of the SATA HDD speed limit of my motherboard.

If anything, I feel like mine have sped up some recently. 7200 RPM HDD, half full (990 GB free atm), last clean install was July last year. They do seem a bit long overall, though, always have.

Well there’s been a lot of patching. You might be experiencing disk fragmentation.

In just every zone, like for example in Frostgorge or Dredgehaunt Cliffs, or just especially in Gendarran Fields ?

If its just Gendarran .. Gendarran is the new even bigger Lion Arch now, so it takes some time.

Haven’t tried Gendarran, I generally hang out in Orr (Cursed Shore) these days.
