Loud fan. Need help.
this computer is running, yes? and if it is, did you make sure that none of the settings are being overridden to have higher performance?
Your question has a lot of variables. It may be that the fan makes this racket normally. If that’s the case, you could look at buying some different fans for it.
You could also look at the cooling and exchange it for a water cooled GPU.
Additionally, you could employ extra case fans to lessen the screech.
Also. larger fans (perhaps 120mm?) make less noise than their smaller cousins.
How big is your case?
Do you have nice cable management?
Can you run some temperature tests to show if your GPU is efficiently cooled?
Look up some reviews for quiet fans.
Just some points I can think of off the top of my head.

What is making the loud noise? The PSU? The video card? The CPU? The case fans? All the time? When you are only playing the game?
RIP City of Heroes
I used to have an old junk motherboard that one of the fan outlets would run any fan at max RPM. So because of the case, it was a 120mm fan at 2200 RPM. holy baby buttery jesus was it loud. I’m sure my 5770 loved it though at the time.
Try my Corsair h80 fans they sound like jet engine on max RPM. And yeah be more specific about your problem we are on the dark here. And provide a video maybe, it would help.

Corsair H100 here. After 50 degrees, it sounds GLORIOUS

haha yea they both have the same fans. Luckly my h80 fan controller stopped working so Im now controlling them via möbo and set em as low as possible.
My vapor x gpu at full speed sounds like a boeing 747… They run both at 2200 rpm at 100%…

Well it should never ever run at 100% speed unless you’re burning it with Furmark or something, or maybe Bitcoin mining.
2OP: Get yourself a hardware monitoring program, like HWMonitor. Launch the game and take a look at your CPU and GPU temperatures.
The PSU shouldn’t be making that much noise. I use the same PSU and it’s a quality low-middle end PSU.
Well i can manually change the speed if needed. But with hot days like yesterday, he go up to 73°C if i don’t put the speed at 90%
