Hey guys, I have been loving the game so far but I have some issues when it comes to performance.

I also can see that my GPU Usage % is low when I check EVGA Precision. (IT IS NOT A BOTTLENECK)

I recently upgraded from a gtx 470 to a gtx 670 and did not notice a big difference at all. I feel like my system can run this game better but it is not. Should I just wait it out for a fix from Anet?

My specs are:
intel i7 920 @ 4.0 (W/ Corsair H50 Cooler)
EVGA GTX 670 FTW
Corsair XMS3 6GB Memory
Seagate Momentus XT 750 GB Solid State Hybrid
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
EVGA X58 SLI Motherboard
ULTRA 750W PSU

I have a gtx 670 (zotac) and The game runs rather well. I have not been looking at % usage but I also feel like the game should run slightly better than it has been. However, it might be that we need to wait for drivers from nvidia.

Areas Ive noticed that the game lags or doesnt perform very well is areas like lions arch.
Edit: Ive also noticed that this game is heavily cpu dependent. You have a good cpu so idk. My cpu is a i5 overclocked to 4.2

I just bought a 670 myself this week.

When I first started playing, I had mid 30 FPS as I did on my previous card. Here’s how I fixed it;

Disabled frame limiter, vsync and triple buffering settings both in game and in Nvidia control panel.

My FPS is now averaging into the 70s.

It worked like a charm for me as well even tho it only got me an extra 10-15 fps with my Gt 440 card but now I’m averaging around 25-30 fps and the game is fairly well playable and the graphics still look stunning.

You could increase ur fps by OCing ur cpu further. ATM its highly likely your CPU is bottlenecking (i dont mean its at 100% becouse it wont be).

FWIW, there’s a good discussion elsewhere about how your CPU could still be causing a bottleneck even if it isn’t running close to 100% since the game doesn’t use every core on the processor.

What FPS are you getting? How much %usage? Where are you measuring. What settings? Since you didn’t provide those information we could only speculate you have a bottleneck at your CPU.
