Before patch: ~45 fps..
After patch: ~20 fps.
Is anyone else having problems with fps after patch?
I’m using AMD Radeon HD 6530D graphics card, AMD A6-3670 APU with HD graphics processor, if there’s anything that I can provide to solve this problem please do say as well.

Yep, from about 28-30fps to 15 and less after patch.

yes it feels like i have constant minilag with that low framerate…

I’m experiencing lower FPS in comparison to before the patch as well.
And overall the game doesn’t feel as smooth as before the patch.

I have a slow computer and had 30-40fps before the patch, now i have 4-6fps. Thats unplayable.

I’m seeing DRAMATICALLY reduced fps after the patch. My laptop went from 30+ on lowest settings to ~12 (completely unplayable), and my desktop computer with a GTX 970 went from a silky smooth 60fps to bouncing between 40 and 50.

I don’t know what they did, but they need to fix it.

Same, went from average 108-115 fps down to 51-67 with my overclocked I5 and 760GTX

CPU is used for 72% on average and GPU for 49% … 49%!

I didn’t overclock my hardware to play with 51 fps.

Also seeing significant losses, even on the lowest settings.

Maybe use default camera setting ? Field of view reduce FPS because you see more objective.

Using default camera settings, actually getting motion sick due to low fps spikes everywhere, it’s horrible.

Several graphical options are broken aswell, LOD distance & Post processing for example, they change very little now compared to before, my fps doesn’t even change when I alter them, horribly optimized.

Same problem here before the patch I had 30-35 fps now its 12

It’s more than 50%. This should be fixed as soon as possible.

Yea im unable to play the game now my fps went from 38 – 47 down to 9 :’’’’(((( whyyyy ? Whyyyy???

EDIT: If I hide the UI with Shift+Cntrl+H My olds fps back, seems like a UI problems, can you try it?

I am noticing a small decrease as well, from a stable 60 to 50 while in the black citadel. CPU load is below 40% (a i7 4790K), gpu load didn’t go above 50% (970 gtx).

In the Wayfarer Foothills I instead get around 100-120 fps (so it’s perfectly fine there). CPU load remains the same there, GPU load spikes to 71% occasionally.

same here went from 45 frames to 19 VisionTek 900311 Radeon HD 5450
intl core i3-2120 3.39 ghz but yeah old comp but still pretty huge fps loss after patch

dropped from 60-70FPS to 30-40FPS no Parking,holding power or things like that

Still My GPU/CPU isnt going above 40-45% load,tried to find out if it wasnt me,but other games,programs,… using GPU above 90% so… classy POST UPDATE EXPERIENCE. :D

Same issue here. 60+ in most places and now down to 20-30fps. It’s so choppy it makes me sick to my stomach to play now.

Same problem here. From solid 50-70FPS to 30FPS in AC. WTF!

I wondered why things seemed worse than before. Things weren’t great before any of the patches because the game is just massively unoptimised, but whatever the patch did I’m glad I’m not imagining the extra frame loss.

Like Titan said, it’s a UI problem. When I disable the UI it’s “normal”.

wow yeah just tried hide interface and it goes back to normal frames to bad i cant see anything when i do this tho

Same here, from 35-40 all the way down to 15 maximum and EVEN in best performance settings. UI problem or not, it remains even in the character creation and selection.

Not the best equipement but it was playable before the patch, now the PvP and WvW part is unbearable.
Great work on the camera though !

Also dropped from 30 fps to 10-15 fps after the patch. On an i5 imac.

Dropped from 40+ FPS in WvW to 25 FPS…almost un playable now.

Yeah I also just tried to hide my UI and my fps went back to ’’normal’’, I cant play like that though.

Yep. Had 30+ and now I’m lucky if I can get over 10.

Fps still the same with new update.. please Anet fix it soon.

I’m crying right now. I just did my daily fotm with my friends and it didn’t go well for me died 12x in bloomhunger and 6x on 1st boss in colossus with 2-4FPS can’t dodge the boss attacks and those AOE circles i had no choice to drop i don’t want to be a burden and get carried even they’re my friends. My friends was like what wrong with me… My FPS is usually 25 but now its 2-4FPS (T . T)

8+ hours and not a single response. Typical customer service. I was about to buy gems for the month, forget that, going to hold off until they decide making the game playable is worthwhile after breaking it.

Same problem on mac. Insane fps drop, about 50-60%

I should be enjoying the new camera update, but sadly i can’t because of FPS drop. Before the patch happen i usually play at 20-25FPS but now its 2-4FPS on any map pvp, pve, and wvw. Right now i’m just enduring my 2-4FPS by finishing my dailies, logging, crafting asc mats, and feeding my items with asc mats.

AMD video card here, same thing. Lost about half my FPS.

Completely unplayable, couldn’t even do 1 spvp match.

What a patch… with this and people getting GWAMM for free after I put in years in GW1, I’m raging pretty hard.

I have the same problem. Hiding the UI increases my FPS by 20~, try it for yourself. The problem has to be by the UI.

I wish there’s an option to disable the new camera beta settings, so i can get my current FPS back before this new update came out.

few things. have you tried this

turn all settings to lowest / turned off
close the game and reload
set all settings to how you used to have them.

normally when they do game engine changes it causes some issues and by setting everything to its lowest you “clear” the game and it runs smoothly after.

also have u tried running a game repair.

I would like to mention that doing AC path one today and fighting the second boss my FPS droped to 10 fps and stutterd like crazy. and I couldn’t close the game and had to force close it.

they did indeed cause a nasty issue with the game.

also if u notice the XP bar at the bottom of the screen was redesigned which might be a factor in this.

also try getting updated GPU drivers. uninstall the old one then install the new one (this insures no driver corruption / conflicts, yes it does happen even today to argue is foolish)

I fixed it by doing below. It worked for me.

• Adjusting collision sensitivity all the way to left. (FPS backed up from 15-ish to 60)
• Adjusting Field of View to get good balance of FoV vs FPS

/p yes hi i wanna report that the game is not running good as it use to be i use to play from 120 FPS all ULTRA Spec and now after this new patch and Beta mode On i am running the game at 10 FPS the game star okay with 70 FPS but then it drop to 10 FPS and the audio crash a bit and sometime the image crash i use to pay to play this game i also pay for HoT expansion and other stuff but if the game continue doing this i am afraid i have to stop play the game i don’t have he best English only here to report what happen
