Guild Wars 2

So after the horrific experience of HoT in OSX, I decided to try and install it in Bootcamp. I only have windows for one specific piece of design software, as I prefer everything else in OSX and this one item doesn’t have an OSX version, plus I get it for free from my university. I figured this was the only option to play the game, as the Mac client just gets worse and worse.

However, my trackpad doesn’t work properly, touch to click (which works everywhere else in windows) doesn’t work at all, the right hand click doesn’t work, scrolling is messy and inconsistent, and ordinary clicking doesn’t work half the time either. No joy with a proper mouse, either. Similar issues aplenty. Any ideas on how to fix this? Note that everything works just fine everywhere else in Windows, the issues are ONLY in Guildwars.

At this rate, I’ll probably go back to using the Mac client because I could at least play properly, even if it was only for around 5-10 minutes before crashing…

what about buying a cheap mouse?

I did say I tried using an alternative mouse but that too had issues.

oh, sry, my bad. i use in bootcamp a logitech m570 or a wireless microsoft mouse without any issues. Also used a 5€ mouse a time ago, also with no issues, but this mouse was crap. maybe you can update your bootcamp drivers?

Bootcamp drivers are at the latest version. I guess I’ll just have to go and buy another mouse but these are stupid issues to be having.
