I’ve reformated my computer, Reinstalled Mac OSx 10.6.8. ( Updated )
Reinstalled GW2.
Once the Client loads up
Username, Password. LOGIN.

PLAY..

Black screen…

Nothing…
I get booted back to desktop, there used to be that c0000005 error. that no longer appears.

I’ve deleated the App support folder.
I’ve even tried adjusting the “package Contents” with “~repair”

still nothing.

Any other magical tricks i can try?

GW2 did work after reformat PRE system update.
Post System update. i can’t get anywhere

I’m having this same issue. It started about an hour ago, (since post) and I decided to come to the forums to check to see if there was some known issue before I started to reinstall this game. It kicked me from the game saying there was a network error (checked internet had connection), after that I tried to re-log in. The game promoted me for my password and username. Once in and play was clicked, I was brought to a black screen with nothing but a different cursor.

EDIT After typing this comment I preceded to check the forums for a solution. Another thread at this Url

provided a solution that worked for me.

Farsi. Thanks for the Help. alas. this is the app support folder i have already deleated. it has not worked.

Hender, give this a shot.

Create a new user account with admin privileges and try running the GW2 app while logged in to that account rather than your normal account. If the game runs, it’s a problem with something you’re running on your primary account. If it doesn’t, let us know, since that means there’s something with the app itself.
