Hello,

I have been playing for two years on my Mac and everything was going fine. Now I am getting, “Coherent host crashed A serious error as occurred that prevented the application from continuing”

Now it won’t let me play. I recently deleted Guild wars 2 off my mac and downloaded again just to see if that would solve the problem. It did for a good while, but I wanted to know if there is a more permanent fix to this situation?

I have also been playing on my Mac since launch and have never seen that. A quick search on that error however gave this solution from reddit:

“Do you have any Razer device? If yes, stop the process “razerstatsmanager.exe” with the task manager. This is what i have to do (but only with sweetfx or any variant installed). It worked but since a patch about a month ago it isn’t anymore."

There’s a sticky post at the top of this forum for mac, inside are instructions on how to delete the Guild Wars 2 folder in Application Support. I assume you didn’t remove that when you uninstalled GW2 the first time, so perhaps there’s some issue thats arisen from that folder being connected to the old instal..
