Guild Wars 2

Occasionally my FPS tanks and GPU load spikes up to 99% with no real cause that I can find. Temperatures have never been unusually high when it’s happened and there’s no downclocking or anything similar.

I have noticed that most of times it’s happened have been in the same places (Hero’s Waypoint, Imperator’s Core, and the crafting area of the Black Citadel and Vir’s Gate Waypoint in Plains of Ashford.)

Does this happen on every graphics setting? Make sure your gpu is not stuck in 2D mode if you are using Nvidia card, change power management mode to max performance under global 3D settings.
