Guild Wars 2

I don’t know if this is due to me moving… but i am now unable to load into any map. I can get to the character screen just fine. But when i select a character to play my screen get locked up on the loading image. I can hear the map around me, but i don’t see it.

I have updated AMD and checked the directX. If i try to change for windowed full screen to something else it tells me “unable to revert to previous video settings”. I don’t know what else could be causing this.

Any ideas?

You can try resetting your preferences, which will take you out of windowed full screen with the Command Line Argument -prefreset. (Make sure to remove it after using.)

ok. i tried the -prefreset and now every time i select a character to map in, the window goes away and my computer freezes. and when i try to put it back to windowed fullscreen. i get the same directx message as before. could this have anything to due with using a HDMI cable vs a monitor cable?

Did you remove the Command Line Argument?

No idea about the cable; an HDMI cable should work in an HDMI slot. Make sure your resolution matches your monitor settings.

i did remove the command line. i think that i will put in a ticket. thanks for the help
