Same here. Server Far Shiverpeaks, I’ve tried to log back for ~15 min now, to no avail.

Not the best situation. Prime time for gaming and so sad of error 42 =(

Lost 3 lvl`s and probably lots of nice items i had before the DC..

Yeah, cant log into Far shiverpeaks either. Oh well, guess that means I’ll have to attend something called real life :/ :P

I was a third on the way to lvl 80 when the DC happened. I can log in, but can’t play and now it says lvl 78 on my character. And it also says it is in Black Citadel, though it was in Bloodtide Coast when I got kicked out. Rollback? =/

Managed to login and get into the character selection, but cannot log onto the game client.

Same problem, same error too, cant be everyone’s firewall!

Also disconnected, come on guys this is getting a little silly now. Please put out some communication to the community so we know what’s going on.

Stuck on char select screen and my char is showing 2 lvls lower than I was before the DC – hope it’s just an error.

@Kirri Malo.4395 No, it isn’t. It’s the generic error message that is given when the client cannot connect to the login server for any reason. Try getting facts correct before laughing at others maybe?

@MattChernicky Nope. Still login server issues in the UK.

lucky I didnt took any xp boost …..is there any chance to get refund if I used gems to buy xp boost and server went down ?

I love how you believe this :P Yeah they love to tell you it’s your fault and to do X tech solutions so you will just give up and leave them alone.

I get the 42 string error every time THEY mess the server up. It has nothing to do with my router settings or firewall.

@MattChernicky game servers might be up, but the login servers is either overloaded or not up. (EU)

Still can’t even get into Character Selection (Ring of Fire EU), when I do manage to finally I cannot start the game, then disconnect back to launcher with error 42:0:9001:3927:101

Gotta love the conflicting information from different ArenaNet sources. Please don’t tell us everything is fine when quite clearly it isn’t. You lose a lot of credability.

Login servers still seem to be down.
I can’t get in to the game and the launcher keeps telling me that
“Guild Wars 2 has encountered an error”.
