Hey Guys,
I’ve been playing GW2 fine since 3 months and for like last 3 days I am having horrible packet loss and in result non-responsive still characters.
I’ve tried guesting on other servers and it’s much better, but on Aurora Glade (my home world) I can’t even play.
Any idea how to solve this nuisance? Any of you having same problem? Thank you.

Posting the IP would be much more informative, as Servers are no longer specific.

Good luck.

Also a TRACERT when you are seeing this packet loss might point to where the problem is happening. Unless every player on that particular server is reporting this issue, it’s likely NOT that server (but something failing in the route from your location to that server or back to you).
As a side note, there was a reported bug way back were specific players logged into servers would cause massive problems for everyone logged into that server (map zone). Last I heard, the player reporting the issue was working with Support to solve the issue and I am unaware of what the results (solution or cause, etc.) were. I cannot even 100% confirm the report was actually accurate, so take this “tale” with a grain of salt.

Thank you for your responses, The issue disappeared when I played the game yesterday. It was definitely in the route from my ISP to GW2 servers. I am glad it’s gone…

Glad you are working, but keep in mind ISPs (and possibly whomever they buy bandwidth from) can change those routings and often do at peak usage times (throttling). If it shows up at certain times, your ISP is allowing your connection to be throttled and you need to contact them about it. Note it may not be the throttling that is the problem but a routing issue when the throttling is enabled.
