Merging GW1 and GW2 accounts
Ok I think I did it. Yet when I go to edit profile it says my old email is my current and when I try to change it to my GW2 email nothing happens!
Update: When logged into my old account on the website it says my accounts are linked on https://account.guildwars2.com/account though I have no idea why. When I try to do link accounts by logging into my gw2 and going through the same process, it just logs me back into my GW1 account. What’s going on?
You will need to contact the CS Team for assistance with linking your GW1 and GW2 accounts. Be aware that any GW1 support, at this time, takes some time for a response. It could be weeks. Also, the HoM is disable until further notice, so you can’t get any rewards.

Are you looking at your forum profile? Because that email address does not have to be the same as your account email.
You can see the status of your account(s) under “My account”, or here: https://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=welcome by entering any character name. If there’s nothing there and you still can’t change your email, I suggest contacting support, but be patient, GW1 requests can take up to a few weeks to receive a reply.

Could I not contact GW2 support instead?
It says accounts linked, but it’s had no impact on my GW2 account at all. I don;t even know if it is linked to my GW2 account and not something/someon else. The account names are both different when logging in.

Again, it may be weeks or months before the issue is resolved, and rewards are disabled at this time.

And the GW1 support is only available through here – Support -> Submit a request -> “Original Guild Wars”. There is an option to specifically ask about linking your accounts there.
Edit: Nevermind, I messed something up about the function of that website. The point about support still stands, though.

No you can only link it to one GW2 account.
