More Lag please, more lag....
A few things we need:
Time Frame when it happens
Server (to see if others have it)
Game Settings
PC Specs
Other than that the only option I can say is to go into your Network Adapter settings, select the adapter you are using, right click & disable it. Then unplug your modem (and router if you have one) and count to ten. Plug the modem (and router up) and double click your adapter to enable it. This will purge leftover packets from both your NIC and Modem. Also, if you do not have it, I suggest downloading CCleaner from piriform.com. You can set it to clean all temp junk files that build over time.
I mention these last parts because junk packets and files will slow down your system and connection. Also you may want to run a speed test at speedtest.net to validate you are getting the connection you are paying for.
@moonstarmac
Timeframe: 2 weeks ago Friday the 6th to be exact
Server: Used to be on Northern Shiverpeaks now on Fort Aspenwood and the problem is still there.
Game settings: does it matter? i’m talking about network latency.
PC specs: How does this influnce anything?
Also, I took the speedtest thingy and it says my ping should be around 30-40ms.

Game settings: They matter depending on your hardware. Setting some settings too high will affect gameplay dramatically.
PC Specs: A lot. If your CPU, Memory, or GPU are experiencing issues of any kind, it will be noticeable in game. Same with the network card and/or modem being overloaded with packets. Latency takes a hit if there is leftover trash in the system. I suggest CCleaner to clean those up easily.
If speedtest shows you have a ping that high there may be a hardware issue somewhere. But again, this depends on your ISP and the speed you are getting.
Eerrrm mmonstarmac 30-40ms Pings are not bad at all.. not sure what network/isp your playing on but that’s pretty kitten good tbh.
If your getting anything bestter than that then please let me know who your ISP is and I will be sure to take out a contract for my broadband service with them.
I only have a 10-15 ping. Using Charter, hardwired, paying for 60Mbs getting over 70. I guess the best part is they have set up fiber in my area.
