I don’t know if this is a bug or it’s due to my computer being utter trash, and I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem.
Basically, whenever I do Fractal runs and I’m up against Mossman, more often than not, I will simply not see him. I’ll see him standing on his porch, but once he stealths and pops out of it, very often, I’ll just see his health bar and the boss symbol floating over it.
Seeing how I usually melee everything I do, even at high level Fractals, it’s very crucial for me to be able to move around him and try to be at his back as much as I can.
Right now, I have to rely on my teammates to guide me and tell me where to stand. I’ve been downed and killed a lot by this, and it’s mildly annoying.
Seeing how this is pretty much limited to myself, and my party members never have this issue, I figured it’s due to my lacking hardware. I wonder if there is something I can do about this, or that there is something being done about PvE culling in the future.
Unfortunately, turning up the graphics is simply not an option. I have everything on lowest settings already, and I typically run anywhere from 6-15 FPS, usually floating around 10. I’ve adapted to this already, so playing at 6-8 FPS might be not comfortable, but I can handle it. Turning up my graphics however, I’ll sit at like 4-8 FPS, which is a bit too much.
To be honest, I have had to develop an internal clock which tells me when to dodge in his encounters. It’s not all bad, since I can basically dodge his stealth axe-throw about 80% of the time because of this self-conditioning I had to do. But being able to see my enemy is what I’d call a bare minimum for most bosses, especially since particle effects are usually annoying enough already.
