Hi there,
I have just bought the delux edition of guild wars 2, but My internet data limit is to low to download on my pc at home.
At work I can do the download, so my question is will I be able to download the game (with all the updates) and then copy the folder over to my own PC.

Yes if you have some means of copying the 20+GB file then you can do that.

Rename Gw2Setup.exe to Gw2.exe to skip the setup and simply make it start downloading to the folder it’s currently in. If you want to hide the launcher, you can start Gw2.exe by using the options:

Gw2.exe -image -nopatchui

If you do that however, take note of the file size of Gw2.dat (right click > properties) after a minute to ensure that it is actually downloading since you won’t be able to see any connection problems. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up the task manager to kill Gw2.exe if you want to stop it for any reason.

Once it’s finished, simply copy the entire folder. Specifically, what you want is Gw2.dat (~20 GB).
