Multi-boxing?
Anet does allow multi-boxing as long as each character is played independent of each other. i.e. when one character does one action the character on another account doesnt do the same. they have to be played separately.
Also exploits are sent to exploits@arena.net
Virual [VRUS] Alien Lunatics [StFu] Nocturnal Sxaddx [Nuts] Ft. Aspenwood
That which is dead may eternally lie, but with great aeons even death may die.
You can also file a support ticket with appropriate supporting evidence (eg: screenshots, some indication how you know these are the “same” player, etc)

Dual- or Multi-Boxing
1.You may use more than one account at the same time.
2.You may use more than one computer at the same time.
3.You must be actively playing on each account.
4.And as stated above, you may not program your keyboard to perform functions on more than one account at a time.
a. For example, if you press W on your keyboard to move forward, a single character on a single account should move forward. The keystroke or mouse click should not perform functions on more than one account.

This is actually the point I was confused about. Let’s say Account 1 logs in, uses an attack, then stops altogether (cancels autoattack, faces away from event). Then Account 2 logs in, does the same. Repeat. So no two accounts are doing the same thing at the same time, nor are any accounts other than the last even using autoattacks. So only one account is actively attacking at a time, but since the others tagged for credit, they can just AFK there. As far as I’ve seen, this is completely within the ToS, but this also means that a multi-boxer can legitimately farm a particular event with a rare drop using this method. If this is okay with ANet, then there’s no need for me to report it, but if they don’t want this type of behavior, I wasn’t sure how to report it (although I now know about this due to previous replies).
Yeah, it’s … one of those rough cases, which is why every ToS for every MMO includes some text to the satisfaction of lawyers that means, roughly, “…and anything else we say is bannable, is bannable.”
If you really believe this to be a problem, report it via CS or in-game, and include evidence. That lets anet deal with the situation. (and, if it’s appropriate, they can communicate back to you about it.)
There was this guy in my guild in GW1 that played 2 accounts on to different computers and 2 different keyboards, he control one account character with his left hand an the other account character with his right hand he was amazing in GvG he was only in the Guild for a couple of weeks and left. I tried to get him back but he said the Guild wasn’t ranked high enough for him.
put the correct term in but not everyone has kittens
