Guild Wars 2

As the title says, I was hacked between 2:00am cst and 7:00am cst this morning. All my stuff was stripped off all my characters, all gear was turned into ectos and sold, and the worst part all my gifts to craft my two legendaries were used to finish them and they are gone now. I was only missing a precursor for my axe, and about 2 TA runs to finish my warhorn. Bank was cleared of gifts so I assume they finished crafting them to sell them. I would like my stuff back by I highly doubt that will happen. I am writing this in hopes that some of you will see this and change your passwords to something impossible to hack (I thought mine was as I have never been hacked in any other mmo, and I never got an email notice that someone tried to log into my account). I have always received an email when I tried to login over at a buddies house so I don’t see why I did not get one when someone hacked me. I have stopped playing until someone from support gets back with me, and if I don’t get some of my stuff back I see no reason to continue playing. Something like this is devestating. All you hackers have a special place in hell!

Sounds like your email is also compromised and you have some malware on your computer. They offer a 1 time account roll back if you have been hacked. Just create a customer support ticket and include information that proves that the account belongs to you and you will get it back.

Reading through your post it sounds like you used a password from a different MMO as your guildwars 2 password, read the piece on account security posted on the forums as to why thats not a good idea then change it to a unique password that is only for this game.

Yeah, I had to change the password to even get access back to my account, and the first thing I did when I saw it was hacked was put in a support ticket.
Just playing the waiting game. Kind of frustrating as I have the next three days off of work, and want to play, but I don’t think I should untill support gets back to me.

Not if you want an account restoration, because it sets back to a given date and anything you do until then will be lost too.
Read the information about the account restoration in the sticky on this page. I think you will be going for it, if you want your items back.
