Don’t ask how, but my friend plays with me on Stormbluff Isle (a full server) and accidentally transferred off the server. Now she’s stuck because the transfer has a 7 day cooldown. The weird thing is, shouldn’t it have charged her gems to transfer? She’s never charged gems to her account before so I don’t understand why it let her transfer off in the first place.

Anyway, she submitted a ticket but the dude basically said they cannot transfer her off while she’s on cooldown, and told her how to transfer once it’s finished. But he didn’t suggest it would be free.

So what I’m asking is, what’s the deal here? Is she going to be able to transfer back here for free once the cooldown is off or is she screwed and it’s going to cost her this time?

Yes, she will be able to transfer back once the 7 day cooldown is over. There is currently no cost to transferring servers, so she does not need to worry about that. What she will need to monitor, once she is able to transfer, is the server population. She will not be able to transfer if the population is listed as full, so may need to wait for a time when it drops to High or lower – which could take a couple of days, depending on whether it is a weekend or not. It may also need to happen very late at night, or overnight, so she will need to keep an eye on that when the time comes.

At some point in the future it will cost gems to transfer between worlds but they will give us plenty of warning before the charge is added to transferring.
