Hi.

I’d like to know why my game name is this long list of numbers and letters and if there is a way to change it? Its becoming tedious to interact with other players with this display name which looks like a 90s key code. I played way back in 2012 but only recently came back to the game.

It is a bug that has affected some people. Submit a support ticket, the link is at the top of the page, and support should help you correct it.

I submitted a support ticket a couple months back and someone from Anet switched my account to my new email. I thought this fixed the issue but apparently it did not. It might have been a misunderstanding of what my problem was though. I’ll submit another ticket and hopefully it gets sorted.
