… for “assisting in gold buying”. The only way she’s been getting gold is because I’ve been giving her gold because I’m the one who’s been cash shopping. She bought the account recently so we can play together and now she’s getting banned for something she didn’t even do? What can we do? Do we have to buy another account… ?
No, file a ticket with customer support. There have been quite a lot of people lately who have been getting this problem. Customer support can help to identify the innocence of the account and release it. If after 3 days of no reply from customer support, try posting the ticket number in the 3 days and older tickets for review thread, along with a short description of what happened. What’s weird is someone tried accessing her account from China and she got an email asking if she wanted to authorize that. She deleted the email to take out the risk of accidentally authorizing it. How did the guy from China even attempt to log in when there’s no way he could’ve figured out her password? Is Guild War 2’s security that bad… ? This is really upsetting, UGH.
That access attempt may have been what raised those flags and triggered the RMT ban. Who knows, cause Anet won’t explain to us how people are getting caught up with the RMT crowd without trading money.
She changed her password and everything (we thought everything was fine then) and we were even able to play for a bit this morning and nothing was different in her account. And all of a sudden, without even a WARNING or a NOTIFICATION, her account got terminated PERMANENTLY? My biggest fear is that that guy might’ve somehow accessed her account and did all the RMT crap that we got banned for so we can’t even get it back.
Anet, when you see this, please check all the transactions made between us. You’ll see that some of her gold were from dungeons and WvW and the majority of it was from me. Check my transactions as well and you’ll see that most of the gold I got and mailed to her were from buying them legitimately from the Gem Store (some were from dungeons and WvW as well).
[Edit] Also, she’s even bought her own gold from the Gem Store as well. We don’t even know how to RMT. Check her Gem Store transactions as well. Actually, just check every gold, silver, and copper in both of our accounts and you’ll see that every single penny we made are legitimate.

She needs to file a ticket with Customer Support.
I understand that what you’re seeing is really scary. But it’s not permanent if she’s innocent. Have her open a ticket so that Support can look into this and get it resolved.
This is quite a major problem… same dilemma for a guildie here…
Alright, she sent a ticket.
Also, the location wasn’t authorized (she checked under “My Account => Security” so I guess at least hopefully none of her items were lost (spent a good amount of cash on that). I don’t even know how she got banned when everything we did were absolutely legitimate.
