I tried logging into the forum today (just now) and the autofill password was rejected, twice. So I retyped my password and tried, twice. Then, with no other adjustment since the second time I typed the password, it let me log in. That was scary stuff. Should I still be worried?

I’ve had it do that in the past. Occasionally it would take but then send me to My Account and then log me out again when I try to get to the forums.
