Hi, my brother got perm banned on thursdays due to unknown reasons.
Firstly, he did not used any 3rd party program nor did he swear in map chat.
He said that he already sent multiple support threads via the support button but he has yet to get a reply from anet regarding his account.
It is also his first ban from gw2 and he doesn’t know why and what he done to get this ban.
Please do review / reply to his support thread.

Thank you(or him) for clogging up and slowing down support. He should close all but one to speed up the support process.

Also you should not come to the forum unless the ticket is OVER 3 days old.

Every time he makes a new ticket, they first go through it and delete it or merge it before they respond to the first one. Your brother is slowing them down by doing that.

Also, when banned or suspended they do give the reasons why they did so.
True or not, they give the reason.

They did tell him the reason but it doesn’t affect him from what i see.
All the tickets are 4 days old.
He has been craving for WvW action but anet doesn’t seem to reply him, that explain the multiple tickets.
I will tell him to close some of his tickets then.

Not all the tickets are 4 days old. the first 6 digits are the actual dates.
So his first is from the 6th (3 days ago). the others are from the 7th (2 days ago) and the 8th (yesterday). It is the first sign of something what we see happening here a lot. People who are not being truthfull to themself and to us bout the reason of the suspension.

They did tell him the reason and it does effect him cause it is what Arenanet is accusing him of.

I may sound harsh here, but the twisting of dates is a sign of trying to make the case shine more in your borthers favor (not saying that it is your fault or your borthers btw). An important warning bout that is to not do it. It will not do you anything good.

The support liason dealing with these issues is a very nice and warm person, unless you try pull her some trick. Then she is straightforward and direct.

If your brother did what he is accused off he will not get anything done from support. The system is very clear and there is no grey area. In such a case it is futile to resist.

Now. If your brother has questions bout the suspension (when it is for using a third party program, they won’t discuss the evidence) or wants to appeal the decission he has to wait for support to handle it.

Due to the discovery of some now third party software, a lot of suspensions (rightfull ones!!) have been handed out and this means that the team that has to review them is busy.

They do their best to answer your brother within 72 hours. If he didn’t hear in that amount of time you brother can tell the support liason this here

Thanks for the link. He is going to wait 1 more day and then post in that thred that you linked. He has closed 3 of the tickets to try and speed up the process.
