Guild Wars 2

I just can’t log a character, any of them. I log in, i pick up a char and then when the loading screen fail it just kick me out and give me this message:

Network error
Check your connection bla bla error code: (1083:5:7:1618:101)

Don’t know what’s happening, yesterday it works perfectly. And my network just work fine at any other thing i try to do.

getting the same problem, cant load any toons, on any maps, seriously wth is going on last night the lag got so bad wvw was unplayable now I cant even log in. What in the world did that last update do

Game crashed on me this morning. went to work no I can’t log onto any of my toons. Twitter says that the issue is fixed but i’m guessing not.

I am having the exact same issue – have tried reboots of the client as well as the machine. Played last, logged off. Powered down. Today I powered up and am having this issue.

I’m also having this issue. I was kicked out of the game last night along with everyone else, went to bed. Came back today, getting this network error and error code.

I’m getting this too, I have restarted the PC and the client multiple times.

EDIT: running GW2 -repair fixed this for me.

Also having this issue! I am now repairing the files, and I’ll update when it is finished.

For anyone wondering how to “run GW2 – repair” here are some instructions:

1. Locate your Gw2.exe file.
2. Right-click on the file and select Create shortcut.
3. Rename this new shortcut to Guild Wars 2 Repair.
4. Right-click on Guild Wars 2 Repair and select Properties.
5. Locate the Target line and add –repair to the end. (Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 6. 2\gw2.exe” -repair)
7. Click OK.

UPDATE:
The repair didn’t finish and got about half-way though then froze. I tried to run it again and it failed at less than 10%. I decided to try to run the game again with my normal launcher (the one without the -repair target) and it suddenly worked! So, I’m not sure if this worked or not, or if it is a permanent fix, but I wanted to share it for you guys!
