I don’t know if the new build a little while ago addressed anything on the mac client side, but call me crazy when I saw that performance improved a bit. Granted I am still playing with all settings on low on a pretty nice system, but it does seem better.
least you can still play, can’t even start the game

I agree that I saw an improvement (2010 iMac i7, ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB, 10.8.2, yada yada).
