Guild Wars 2

Hi, I just bought new PC for playing GW2.
I copied my GW2 from my external HDD, and played it.
Takes a long time to load map and fps dropped 5 – 7.

Specs:
Mother Board – Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC Intel Socket 1150
Processor – Intel i5 4670 (3.4Ghz, C6MB, Haswell) Intel LGA 1150
VGA – Gigabyte GTX 760 20248Mb DDR5 GV-N760OC-2GD Nvidia PCI Exp.
Memory DDR3 – Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 (2×4Gb) DDR3
Harddisk – WDC SATA III Caviar Black 2TB 64Mb 3.5Inch

I updated my VGA, also no luck. some say I have to update my BIOS with risk will bricked my Motherboard. (Windows7)

Check if your PCI-E bus is running at x16 first, if not reseat your VGA.

Your motheboard has UEFI DualBIOS so there’s no need to worry about bricking it like older motherboards.

Just update it through a thumbdrive on your UEFI, I personally still don’t trust any bios updates done through Windows lol.

Agreed, if you update via Windows and something goes wrong, completely the user’s fault. As far as map loading, pick up an SSD. No sense in having new hardware and running a hard drive as your primary these days.
