Your driver is up to date with version 310.70. "
with the latest drivers the card works well
but when I get into GW2, the computer just turns off with in 5 to ten minutes
All my windows updates are are done.
and I let GW2 pick all the graphic settings
As for the card settings they are all set to default
Any suggestions that might help??

Ah I forgot to say you could try your old one/spare to test if you have one
That is actually slightly better than the TT so is def worth testing. If it works I would still consider a replacement in the near future but at least you’d be certain before buying. The coolermaster can only really deliver 450w stable as they again lie about its true output.

Monitor the temps of the GPU whilst in-game with something like MSI Afterburner to check its not overheating.
It’s likely you either have a iffy card or a PSU problem due to the extra draw.

Just been testing on Diablo III and had all the settings on max with no problems
Also before I installed the Video Card I changed the power supply to:
THERMALTAKE 650W MODULAR 14CM
FAN, ATX 12V 2.3, 4X PCI-E, 6X
SATA CONNECTOR
2 Dedcated 6 pin power plugs for the Video Card
Stress test your system by running multiple tools like Prime95, Furmark, OCCT etc at the same time.
Physical system shutdown is usually due to hardware issues like temp/power.
So the computer just restarts yes ?
Its unlikely to be drivers. In which case its important u install some monitoring programs to find out temperatures while under load. However to 100% sure on the drives ..downgrade to the 306.97 drivers .they work fine ,,i use em with my 560ti.
The 560ti i have used to run hot on the stock fan speed curve(atleast to hot for my liking), if urs is indeed overheating causing a restart then i would sugest installing EVGA PrecisionX and setting up a custom fan speed curve to keep the temperatures down.
A 650W PSu should be more than enough so i would not think its that unless its faulty.
Hi Chevalier Shrew.1276
Would I be correct in assuming this is your power supply?
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?S=1207&ID=1500#Tab1
If so then it is below the minimum requirements for your graphics card. Although it has enough Power (650w) it does not have enough Current (+12v Rail @ 18A)
Your graphics card requires either 30A for the original 560Ti or 38A for the 448-core version.
If you have the original version you may still be able to use the power supply if you can find 2 PCI-E connectors that are on separate 12v rails effectively giving you 2×18A (36A) to draw power from.
If you have the 448-core version even with 2 separate rails you will still likely trip your power supply active protection system.

I have a new power supply as well
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?S=1172&ID=1908
with max 44a and I have it set on 2 diffrent rails
As others have noted its likely to be temps or psu, I would monitor temps first.
Now unfortunately whilst that PSU is rated at 650w and 44A +12v it doesn’t actually produce anywhere near this. TR2s are baaad models manufactured by hec. It can probably supply about 30-35 amps at most.
If you tried to pull 650w it would literally explode. I would consider rma for better model.

Thanks majestic and Nitro
What would suggest for a better PSU?
It depends what your budget is and also If you are overclocking the CPU/GPU. A good 650w will be fine though unless you have a crazy amount of drives and such.
Something like the corsair tx-650v2 is very good and priced midrange. The xfx core edition 650w is identical inside, both are seasonic units so whichever is cheaper in that case. Seasonic s12ii-620 is another. For comparison, these units will actually supply ~53A as rated on the +12v rail.
As far as thermaltake goes the only good units are some of the toughpower over 600w, everything else is bad or medicore.

I also have a CoolerMaster RS-600-PCAR-E3

Would this one work ok?

I will give it a try with my old Cooler Master
and see it that works
Never skimp on your PSU but I would run stress test and monitor your temps first although you should start seeing verybad performance before it cuts off. The cooler master is also cheap any of these are good choices.
