I was wondering how it works if your computer hard drive fails and you have to buy a new computer. Will I be able to download the game again on my new comp with no issues? Will I lose all my characters? Thanks for any help you can supply.

No problem downloading the game again, except for the time it takes. All your characters are up on the server. You’ll lose any screenshots you had saved but that’s all.

It’s your account that you are “buying” when you bought the game. As long as you know your ID and password, you can install the game everywhere, you just can’t log in more than one at a time.

As above. also ..u dont need to buy an entire new computer for a HDD failure, just replace the HDD.

You can get the install media free pretty easily, the hard part is getting the activation code (which he should have if his Windows is legit).

Thanks! As far as just replacing the hard drive it was a 6-7 year old comp…..gave me a good excuse to get a new and improved one! :-) Should be here on Monday! Woo Hoo….I’m pumped! I can’t wait to see how an updated processor, memory and graphics card performs! Oh and yes I have a legit copy of Windows 7. :-)

TBH, i know its a bit late but….You should have held of till June. Intel has new CPU’s coming out then, and Nvidia has new GPU’s coming out this month (suposedly)

But still ..that would have only mattered if u had enough money for a Intel & Nvidia rig.

No worries. I am not the type that has to have the newest thing. As long as I have a comp that will play anything I like I’m cool. The comp I am getting will even play Crisis 3 at the highest settings or at the very least pushing the envelope for highest settings depending on which site you look at. I’m good with that! :-)
