New beta driver 310.33 released yesterday, it seems nVidia finally corrected the ambient occlusion bugs.

Installed yesterday, no performance gains which was expected. AO works but seems like it adds some stutter, even at 60+ (vsync’d or not).

No changes, Nor will there be until ANet optimizes the game.
AO is still stuffed in the Norn starting area.
Also picked up a very nasty (unplayable) stutter when panning with the mouse.
Think I will give these betas a miss.
They give my EVGA GTX 690 + Intel i7 2600K the same stuttering as the 306.97.
Gw2:
306.97Whql gives micro stutter with shadows ultra !
301.33Beta Gives major stutter and tearing/jumping.
Reverted to 306.23whql for the Engtx570 !

These do not fix AO. Nvidia reps have said it only “improves” it (thus it’s not in the release notes). These do not fix the ultra shadows/ all relections stuttering or texture flickering with SLI enabled.

Before there would be scenes where the environment would go missing completely and make it feel like you’re walking on air (with AO enabled). Have yet to encounter that with these.
