Guild Wars 2

Hey,

When I log-in my account name isn’t shown and when I enter game I can’t connect to guild or LFG. I tried to search but can’t find a solution. Does anyone have any ideas?

Your account name should never show in-game. The only time you, and only you, should see your account name is at the top of the forums, official GW2 sites, Account Management page, and only when you have logged into those pages/sites.

Your Display Name is what everyone else sees, and that is OliverSmith.7491

Is Oliver…. what you are not seeing in-game?

I’ve started a repair and I’ll go for a walk in the forest as I know it takes a bloody long time to finish.

God I bloody hate natural day light.

So it’s been 3 days now and only got the automated responses about “we’re sorry it’s taking so long” in truth I know it’s not the most pressing matter as I can still play the game but the whole USP of Guild wars is that we can socalise and form friendships in game and I am unable to use the guild and LFG tabs what’s worse is, I’m trying to grind dungeons and world bosses for kitten materials and I can’t do any dungeons or mists or guild events plus I can’t un-tag from being a commander either and I leave my char logged-on when I go to the shower and when I get back I got 20 people standing around me waiting for something to happen.

I also got an error message in-game saying there is an email miss match. any ideas on this????

I keep getting this logging to my account TX , US (64.25.32.69) but I’m in Poland is this GW2 team or something else?

That is the forum server’s address. It is an anomaly that shows up occasionally. Nothing to worry about.
