Guild Wars 2

I was going to the website to purchase a copy of GW2 for my sister through PayPal, however when I select “Paypal” the price goes up to $59.99.

Is this an error on the site or is Paypal not permitted for the promo?

That’s odd! I’ve asked our web team to take a look. I thought it was $59.99 for the standard edition or DDU. So this is a surprise to me!

Yes, I was just talking to folks about that. The PayPal situation is “a known issue” but I don’t know when it will be corrected.

Thanks for the update, I’ll keep checking back periodically… if it doesn’t go through before the end then I’ll have to conjure up a credit card… lol

I saw this too. When you enter your email address and country, etc, the $44.99 comes back again and you can buy it for $44.99.

im trying to purchase the digital deluxe edition and it just will not let me enter any credit card information and wont have my paypal go through, it literally is kitten me off…..

The “issue” only exists as long as no info is entered. The moment you enter all the paypal details (Country, State, Zip etc.) it reverts back to 44.99
