Guild Wars 2

So I’m very new to this game.
I created a character on a random server to familiarize myself with the game before asking my friend which server he was on (couldn’t wait :P)
and now i deleted my character but still cant make a new one on his world.

I skimmed through the stickies couldn’t find anything helpful.

Any idea what to do?

When you log into the character select screen there is a world select button in the lower left corner. Click that and choose transfer to pick a new home server.

I did, tells me i need 6 days to transfer even though i have no character. I might’ve transferred by mistake tho.

That’s the reason then. Because of people using transfers to cause problems in WvW, they put in a cooldown period between transfers. However as long as your friend is in the same server region, NA or EU, you or he can guest and play together until you are able to transfer again.

And you can use this time to help familiarize yourself with the various classes. Also, anything in the bank will persist as it’s account bound. So you can still earn money, etc.
