Hello, yesterday my friend purchased gw2 and he is having trouble logging in this morning, he tried reseting his password but no email is being sent to his email. If anyone could tell me why that would be great, thanks!

He created a new, unique email account using a different provider than any listed in that thread? And then contacted the CS Team, and got no reply whatsoever? Then, I would suggest he/she try another provider, until he/she does get a reply.

Was he able to login to his account yesterday? If he could then i don’t know. If he couldn’t did he recieve the email about registering his account, if so did he then recieve the email with the link to download the game client.
If he downloaded the game client, logged into his account and created a character he should be able to change his password, if he hasn’t been able to do this then he can’t change his password and won’t recieve any emails from Anet when he tries to. If he is having the same problem as i am and can’t register his account because he has not recieved the confirmation email from them i’m pretty sure that his account is not registered yet and his password is correct but the account is not active. I don’t know if this is a problem on Anet’s end, being unable to cope with the amount of people purchasing the game or if it’s a fault on our end having put our email address in wrong when trying to register the game. Submit a ticket to support and hope they contact you sooner then they have contacted me, been waiting two days now for a response about a game that i have paid for but cannot play.
