Hello friendly players,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the refund policy of town clothes after the patch.
Yes, I know, it’s a little old. In my guild, I am one of the last who requested reimbursement. I performed exactly as my friends in the guild: they wrote the message for me.
They were part of the first reimbursement wave: their town clothes were refunded, without distinction between tonics and clothes sets.
From my side, I waited because I knew the treatment could be a little long.
A friend of guild reminded me of this yesterday. So I go to see my mail. I see nothing.
In fact, the Anet emails were in the spam folder >_<.
They refuse to refund my outfits, and they provide me a link to their explanation (ie, no tonic, no refund).
So while I understand, I applaud with both hands !
Anet, you handle the problem VERY fairly.
There are too many requests = refund for anyone and anything !
There is less demand = go to die player, even though our new clothes system DO NOT PLEASE YOU and we changed it AFTER you bought the clothes.
The ticket was too old (token: b7Lvr9ZNwYOrZHXvuggKheVj1, asks: 605873), I can not answer them directly, so I’m here:

They made the changes to town clothes 4 months ago. They announced that refunds were for a limited time only and they told everyone the end date.
You had 3 months to put in a ticket. That they were busy and might take a while is not a reason. If you were really dissatisfied back then you should have submitted a request at that time.
If they post a deadline and you procrastinate until a month after the deadline passes, it’s not their fault.

Where in my message I have said I have not acted in time ?
I said their answers were in my spam folder !
I’ve done my refund report the 05/10, in May and I was waiting, and waiting and waiting !
You can think it’s my fault because I’ve not checked before my spam folder … but I’ve done my report in time, and their answer was NO, although it was YES for a LOT of my guidmates >_>

Then, update your ticket and ask why you were not eligible for a refund. We can’t know here on the forums. =)
