No solution for Eu lag?
It is rather likely that it is high priority, but even if they spend every single resource in the company towards it, they would still need to actually figure out where the issues lie.
The fact that many of the people that have issues seems to use the same supplier or being from the same general area would suggest that the issue itself might not lie within ArenaNets control.
Also keep in mind that it is a rather small group of players that seems to have these issues, and as such it would not make all that much sense to put it as a highest priority ever issue.

Maybe this would help narrow down where the issue lies (see attached picture).

Hmm… minority neglect/discrimination?
It is not about permanent lag, it is lag spikes for couple of minutes/hours mainly at prime time. I haven´t found a single competitive player who doesn´t suffer from connection issues.

I make a lot of dungeons everyday and started asking people if they have lags…
I meet around 30 people per day and just 2-3 of them have said that they don’t experience lags. Means: 93% of players i play with have lags. And another thing i noticed: They don’t write into the forums. So the issue is bigger than it seems. I won’t buy the expansion if i won’t be able to play it.

I also asked for their nationality. Russian, frenchmen, germans, swedes, etc…
10,532,000 km² – that is not the same area.
From what I’ve seen posted in other threads regarding the EU lag, it’s related to a particular server that neither ANet nor NCSoft own. It’s a server owned by Telia. Or at least some of it is.
ANet has made Telia aware of the issue, but apparently, it’s not on Telia’s priority list. You would need to go fuss at Telia to get the issue resolved.
Telia was the issue back between the end of August and the beginning or middle of November. I don’t think it’s telia this time; I don’t see a single telia server on my trace route. Last I checked I was getting spikes on a couple of NCSoft servers.
Edit: That being said, response times for logging in via the launcher, getting authentication emails, loading a forum page and submitting/editing a post seems to be quite slow now, which suggests it’s ANet/NCSoft’s servers causing the trouble this time.
