I’m not getting, and haven’t been getting my 10 points for awhile now. I haven’t looked into it until now and I’m wondering how many I’ve missed.

You have to factor in the old monthly as well. They count toward the cap.

There is a cap on daily points you can get; 15000 AP

There is a cap of 15,000 for daily and now-defunct monthly achievements combined. Once the cap is reached, additional points from the “Daily Completionist” meta achievement will no longer increase the account’s achievement points, but individual reward bonus chests will still be given out.

But according to my breakdown, I only have 12,583 from daily.

Yes sadly you probably have monthlies aswell, this topic did come up recently as to why anet still deem it important to put a cap on AP, so that players who only play a few hours a week don’t fall to far behind, its time for Anet to raise that cap to 25k then revise it again in a few years.
