Q:

The same system crash that happend( during beta) on high end graphics cards were the whole PC crashes, is still happening every once in a while. During beta the solution was to down clock the card below factory settings. Now it seems that standerd high end cards work fine, the problem now that im experiancing is on factory overclocked cards. With card running out of the box @ the factory overclock , will still have crash at least once every 3 times i play, granted that is better then every few minutes like in beta. Solution is to down clock card to a standard version of the same card, but this gets annoying when switching to play a higher demanding game. Arena net please Fix!

(PS. does not seem to matter about drivers as long as they are newer then what was available during beta.)

Hey, EVGA released a firmware update for such instabilities in the 500 series cards, depending on how old yours is it may or may not include the new firmware, you’d have to contact EVGA technical support and ask for a BIOS update for the graphics card, as they pulled the public links to them, that may solve the problem.

For reference the most recent 500 series bios number is: 70.24.2e.00.6c
This information can be found easily using EVGA Precision, click the information button in the top right of the main window.
