Hello,
I bought Guild Wars 2 the other and I’ve been playing smoothly for about an hour(or even less) after which an error box pops up and says something about Outofmemory.

I’ve read up about it both here on the forums and on other forums. I know that the problem is when Windows runs on 32-bit. Although all of the problems I’ve been finding are usually related to Windows 7 and I was wondering if it was any different for Windows 8.

I’ve attached my dxDiag file as well. NOTE I am running on a 32-bit OS, if I didn’t make this clear enough. Haha.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to copy the contents of the error log, although it usually just goes along the lines of Outofmemory. It’s about the same every time.

Also, would it be recommended for me to upgrade to 64-bit Windows 8?

Thanks!

The program has to be PAE compatible, and your Windows to be PAE compatible. It needs more than 2 GB of RAM space for itself alone. So like above, upgrade to 64-bit with more RAM, and you’ll be fine.
