Firstly, I looked to see if there was a sticky thread or merged thread about this since I know it’s common, but I didn’t see anything. Sorry if I missed a thread dedicated to this.
Anyway, around 2-3 months ago I was forced to change my name after several players reported me for completely different reasons than my character name. You could say it was because they just didn’t like me and they heard that if they mass report someone enough for character names that they’re almost always forced to change names, but I don’t think that’s really true. My character account was “Xr Moobs”, which was a play off my earlier character “Mr Moobs”. I was also forced to change my character name on every character that had the word “Moob” in it (6 of 8 of my characters). I would like to request for this to be looked at again, as I don’t really think it’s that much of an offensive name.

P.S the reason I haven’t posted a thread much earlier is because Gaile was on vacation at the time.

I’m pretty sure you know what “moobs” means but do a google search for it anyway. Names referring to sexuality / some body parts aren’t allowed.

Afraid that is a disallowed name. You’ll have to change it to something else.

And no, mass reporting won’t get you in trouble if you are innocent of what they are saying. In fact, it gets them in trouble.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s so much that it’s “offensive”; after all “moobs” pokes fun at yourself more than anything. But it falls in the list of “body parts we don’t want in names.”
