Offensive names in my language
I’m not sure what you want support to do. Your options are:
Report the offensive names through the in-game report feature.
Ignore the offensive names.
for reports bout the official supported languages, the report made on e.g. a french server will be handled by a french speaking GM.
For reports bout other language names, I am pretty sure that if it happens more often that someone gets reported, a GM will google it. If it is really really offensive then I would advise to make a support ticket. Explain that you know that you are supposed to report in the game, but that you want to give additional info, together with a translation and an online source for the translation.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Well, I’ll be more specific.
I’m Hungarian, and I’m pretty sure that’s not an officialy supported language.
One of the guild tags in question in my language is the other word for donkey with cutting the ‘jack’ part off (all capitals of course).
The character names could be translated to: ‘Bucket full of sheet’ only, not sheet. The other ones I often see runing around are ‘The one who makes love to animals’ and ‘Hunting kitten’ with the other word used for adorable small cats. I found these pretty disturbing and somewhat ruining immersion.
So… my best option is to Ask a Question – detailed description with translation provided? Pretty tedious, but I guess there is no other way.

I have to say, I’m pretty sure those people know what they’re doing and hoping the language barrier will keep them from getting caught. It’d be pretty hard to accidentally name your character with an entire sentence in a different language.
OP, what you need to do is to send Anet a copy of your CV and ask for a job as the Hungarian language GM!

We have taken action when we have been able to ascertain that a guild name is offensive in a particular language, even when that language is not one of the four that is officially supported within the game. Each would be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, of course.
If you provide the exact names (with correct spelling) and the translation in a support ticket, the team will take a look. I cannot make a promise that every one will be addressed as you would like, but they will be reviewed and action will be taken when appropriate.

Yeah. it would be awesome if there was an in-game version of the Ask a Question form (Maybe add “Detailed Report” to the drop down list?) but for now you have to use the site.

Well, Gaile just gave you an official answer, and I can guarantee you that if she says it will be investigated, you can take that to the bank.

I keep my profanity filter on, and I have accidentally found some weird things filtered that I had to look up why, and found they were cuss words in other languages, the most obscure one (to me, at least) was a Croatian word!
There are also things that are filtered in the profanity filter that the NPC’s say with regularity. Strangeness abounds.
I found this thread by google, as I have a similar issue. (I also happen to be Hungarian too :D) Just saw the “Dr Megbaszlak” character name, and reported it, as it would translate to “Dr I kitten You”.
Wanted to send a support ticket with the reasoning for the report, as I’m not sure English speakers would be able to google it (Google Translate couldn’t understand it), but I didn’t see any such category in the ticket creation menu, so I’m leaving this comment instead :P
Edit: forum profanity filter caught the English translation, but you can see the original if you click on quote D:
