Ok, I have just bought the Chop-it-all Logging Axe and I’ve noticed that it is Account Bound. I have the Molten Alliance Mining Pick and Consortium Harvesting Sickle that I bought when they first came out and they are still Soulbound, not Account Bound.

Is there any chance that ArenaNet will fix this and make them all Account Bound? I think it’s not fair that I should have to buy them again just to get that aswell.

Talk to a Black Lion Weapon Specialist (they used to have one in Lions Arch) with your soulbound tools unequipped (in your inventory).

Yes, you can trade them at the vendor for account bound versions. I just found this out the day after buying a new pick.

Sucks for me.

Note that you must unequip the items and have them in NON-safe storage on the character that talks to the BL weapon specialist or the option to swap the tool will not trigger.
