I constantly had problems with game crashing. A message appears “Out of memory” in logs. My system was Windows7, E8400 processor, 4Gb ram , video GTS250 (1Gb).
Now I have new motherboard, i5 3450, 8Gb ram, GTX650 . And I have same crashing – Out of Memory!
I think problems is not in my computer?

if your Win7 install is 32bits, then it won’t matter if you have 4GB mem or 8GB of memory, it will only be able to address 3.25GB~

my suggestion is to install Win7 64bit

Yea u need a 64bit OS.

On my pc i have seen gw2 use more then 2gb..So yeah,you Need 64bit to be able to use all of that 8Gb ram you have.
