This sucks that even the last thread we did not see 1 arenanet person mentioned if they was fixing this or not.

All the online games I play and this is the only game where the client looses connection with the server.

all ports open.. clientport 80 run.. nothing works.. fix it plz arena net..

Your traceroute is the same as mine on the test page. It drops packets at the second to last server in the route. The issue is with their network.

but why does it need so much time to fix it ? i hope they fix it soon, can play BF4 and other Games 20h without one disconnect ( sry my english is bad)

They’re probably building up information to ascertain where the problem is. It’ll get fixed soon.

I have the same issue but only on mega server maps with world bosses.

I am having this same issue. Been 2 weeks now. I have done all the forum advice. Contacted ISP. Nothing is wrong on their end. Did ping and speed tests… fine. Opened all my ports, got rid of all net security and NOTHING. I can’t be on more than 5 minutes at a time. This needs to be fixed.

iam @ vodafone in Germany and never had problems in GW2 since the scarlett event patch… if they cant fix it in the next 40- 60 days i´ll go to TESO

I agree. I was with a buddy of mine, just North of Ashford and I began getting disconnected every 2 minutes. After the six time, I lost all interest in playing for the night and told them I will try to play tomorrow.

I thought I fixed this issue too by opening the required ports. Did not have any issues for a whole day and then RIGHT around 4 AM I was suffering this issue. Interesting.

Been unable to play because of this error for more than 3 hours now.

Sometimes, i am even unable to login on the first try. Weirdly even the GuildWars forum is really slow to load page.

I changed my DNS and try a couple of other websites so I am my connection does not have any issue except with the game and the website.

Having some connection issues since patch too. Can’t play more than 10 minutes with huge lags before getting disconnected.

hmm normally i get a disconnect every 20- 30 minutes.. but now i played 3 Hours.. , maybe try these following steps , im not sure if i fix my problem( 7:11:3:191:101) but i never could play 3hours since a month =) i hope this helps

Please note, this command will not uninstall any applications from your computer. All MSCONFIG does is prevent these applications from automatically starting when Windows boots up.

To do this:

1. Press and hold the Windows key and then hit the R key. This should bring up the Run dialog box.

2. Type “MSCONFIG” without the quotes, and click “OK.” This should open the System Configuration Utility.

3. Click on the “Services” tab and check the “Hide All Microsoft Services” check box near the bottom, then click the “Disable All” button. (You MUST click “Hide all Microsoft Services”)

4. Next go to the “Startup” tab and click the “Disable All” button.

5. Once these items are all disabled, click the “OK” button and you will get a prompt to restart your computer. Please restart your computer.

6. Once you return to Windows, please try connecting to the game again.

hi..
i have played this game for 1 month and i didn’t have any problem…but yesterday,after i downloaded the new patch ,my DC problems get started and i cant play just for 5 mins,no more…!!!
and before i get DC i have a huge lags for 2 or 3 minutes…so i cant play and it force me to EXIT the game…
what is the problem?
is my net connection problem or your servers have some?
please help…i have tooooo much disconnections….

ok msconfig also doenst work for me… still getting 7 11 3 191 101.. if this kitten isnt fixed in the next 30 day´s i will go to teso, srsly never had a game where a connection bug/error wasnt fixed for soo long time…. very sad

I was fine for a few days after the April 15th patch, but since Friday, I haven’t been able to stay on for more than 10 minutes at a time…and that’s putting it generously. It was so bad yesterday, I was getting chain DCed – start lagging out for a few minutes, get kicked to character select with this error, log back in, fine for maybe a minute, and then trolololag again. I gave up after disconnecting 8-9 times in less than 30 minutes.

It’s been two days of this. It’s not my internet. Everything else works fine. I can log right back in as soon as it DCs me, and sometimes it’s okay for a few minutes, but other times it’ll start DCing me again almost as soon as I load back in.

The game’s completely unplayable for me right now.

The game has become unplayable I’m afraid (literally). I can log in, walk around for a few moments and then I get disconnected with this Error 7.

Glad it’s not just me who has been D/Cing every 10-15 minutes.

Sometimes I’m fine, but in the afternoon it seems to kick in. D/C’s me from sPvP, WvW, Dungeons and open world maps.

It’s not my Internet issue because Ts3 stays connecting and I can speak and hear while I lag and D/C
