Is there a way to block PVPBANK.COM from the chat servers? 100% of the time PVPBANK.COM sends a chat from whomsoever they cracked/created the account from.

I realize most of the investigation is based on the account. But there must be some way on the chat servers you can block chat that contains pvpbank.com. None of it is lagit or following any guide lines ANet set out.

I have a huge block list that 98% of is pvpbank accounts used to spam!! You would think that after two years anything pvpbank in chat or mail would be block automaticaly?

He is saying though its tiring to keep doing that, that anet should have found a way to auto block them.

It’s a problem all MMO companies face I have never heard anyone who has successfully done so in the long term except by banning low level characters from everything but local chat, our /say, to localize the damage. Any text filter is just too easy to circumvent.

So it’s whack a player reported gold seller.

The sad part is that almost every time you get a gold seller spam it’s coming from an account that’s been hacked and cleaned out already. I make it a point to report spammers as quickly as possible so that the account can be disabled and the owner is one step closer to restoration.

I had reported a lot this scams, but it seems ANET does not care about…

This won’t end till people stop having pathetic passwords and no security so they get hacked if accounts stopped getting hacked would see a huge cut down on this as they wouldn’t want to buy as many accounts as they hack to advertise that and people stop buying gold from them

How do you propose they block it though via a chat filter, as annoying as they are, ive seen so many variants of message recently it would be impossible to block, imagine if they blocked PVPBANK.COM heres what you end up with

Do you see how many ways Anet would have to block this, it would be impossible, I tend to report them and block them, then after a few days you do not see them online anymore so I remove them from the block list, Anet is pretty good it seems at checking and removing accounts that spam goldsellers.

Recently it seems to be certain zones getting hit, I don’t normally go into Rata Sum, and I entered the other day and instantly got spammed by like 15 bots.
