I’ve been tracking ip’s that I’ve been on in game for a couple days now and I wanted to show some of the ping tracking paths, and which are showing packet loss on GW side. Yes, I have PL on my end too, and from my ISP (and Level 3, ugh) but these images are directly from one of several nc soft ips that I’ve collected over the last few days. The IP was collected in Lion’s Arch, where I experience the worst of the worst lag (12-15 fps standing perfectly still and using no skills or UI).

The problem is Level 3. Try a free VPN like WTFast to get a route that doesn’t go
over Level 3 and you will see the lag is gone.

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

If you look at the text you posted, most of them are fine, or the issue starts outside of Anet’s control. It’s the path your connection is taking from your modem to Anet’s servers that is having problems.

You can speak to your ISP to see if they have any other suggestions, or try different VPNs, but it really is outside of Anet’s control.

Your issue starts at LVCM, whatever Carrier, that is looks to be your ISP?
Level3 has issues, but the screenshot in your OP shows the Lag starting BEFORE level3.

What you NEED to do is call your ISP, supply them Traceroutes to their Tier3 support line, and ask if they know who LVCM is and if they have a link partner agreement with them.

Ask them the same thing think about Level3.

They will take it from there.
