Hi there I have paysafecard for 10€, I wish to buy it for my friend, and I’m not able to pass
this is the message that i get, and no window to enter the paysafe code ..

MSG: “Payment Authorisation Failed”

I noticed problem is in country, looks like my country SLOVENIA has a bug????
I did choose Austria (nearest country that use euro), and it worked, but that’s just over come the problem, not the fix!

I want a statement of ArenaNet on that.

I tried choosing Austria too, to see if it works… but it did not work, I still got the same error …

My friend tried the same when i’ve told him, and it didn’t work..
It’s sad that we get hyped and let down like that…

Yeah, my freind has got the same problem, i hope they will fix it fastest as they can, cause this sale ends tomorrow :/

same problem with a friend of mine, after clicking “Buy Now”, it goes to a seperate page saying “Payment Authorisation Failed”

I’m from Romania and the same here i can’t buy with paysafecard. Why?

After that i sent them another mail asking if we would still be able 2 get the game ate the discounted price if they were unable to solve the problem in time. This was the reply:

Thank you for that update.
I am sorry the website is showing you a payment method that should not be displayed to you. We have reported it to the development team but we are not able to impliment an instant fix, or allow you to use the Paysafecard payment method. If there is a fix implemented, it will likely not happen before the sale ends, and we would not be able to honor the sale price at that time.
I can only suggest purchasing a prepaid credit card if the other methods are also not available to you.

I have the same problem and unfortunately i can’t buy the game too (second account). A few days ago i had also the same problem while buying gems through paysafe card.

It’s completely ridiculous, i haven’t seen a company before NOT wanting my money so bad.

Hi guys. I just bought the game right now using PAYSAFE CARD, i’m from Portugal and i was having the same issue as you all, all i did was change my contry to France and in the end i was sent to the paysafe card site to complete the purchase!

I has the same problem, and I wasted money adding funds to paypal and to a credit card, they all failed! The most funny thing was this reply I got at one point:
“Your PaySafe is still good for use elsewhere. It’s just not going to work for Guild Wars 2.

it worked for me as soon as i changed to France :s

I decided to try the country change after I posted … Tried all countries … took me 40 minutes and all failed…

i tried to activate it from greece, with the address of my parents house, and I got the same error message. Then i added my address from germany, Hamburg, where i live for a few months per year, and it worked !!

TIP: Use google maps to type everything REALISTIC: European country, City, Zip Code, Address. put everything realistic and it will work fine.

if i purchase with wrong address and zip code will anything unwated happen to me?
