Guild Wars 2

Hello,
I was just wondering if the Mac Beta ran on a separate server that has yet to be optimized. Normally i play on a windows XP bootcamp partition and the game runs beautifully. However, when i play on the mac beta the game is very slow to respond and lags all the time, it’s quite frustrating. Just wondering if my Mac OS is just whiney or if there’s something up.

MacBook Pro 13 inch, Mid-2009.
Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
Software: OS X 10.8.2 (12C60)

P.S I run all graphics options on low for both partitions.

Its certainly not running on a separate server. Your machine can’t handle the OSX client (you are actually outside of the recommended specifications). Windows is a different story, both the OS and the game client are better optimized.

Ahhh ok, that’s what i thought. I knew my Mac was just being whiny. I never actually knew the minimum requirements for the mac client and just installed it on a whim.
