Hey,

I’m guessing the answer to this is probably “no”, but I wanted to ask because it’s been upsetting me. I was wondering if there is any way to alter the name associated with my entire account. It’s not something that I wanted to show up in every communicative function of the game (friends lists, guilds, etc…) I don’t know if I was prompted or not when creating it, but when I made the account I was under the impression that it wasn’t going to be visible to anyone.

Anyway, since it’s the account-wide name that’s how everyone refers to me and im extremely unhappy with it. I was wondering if support could work with me on this?

You can always try submitting a ticket but as far as I know they won’t change it unless it holds personal info.

Sloths are pretty cool creatures and highly underestimated. Personally I think it’s a pretty cool name….

No, they said they won’t change unless its your real name or email, because of reasons of accountability.

I doubt anyone will even notice your name, there are so many of them. I’ve certainly seen worse ones.

And sloths are actually pretty cool animals. I read where one guy tamed one and it turned out to be the sweetest, cleanest, most affectionate pet he ever had. And this was a captured adult, not a hand raised baby.

Usually when I look at my friends list or guild list, I see the name of the character that was on last, not the account name. I have no idea what the account names are of the people in my guild and there only 3 of us.

And I agree with Shady. I like the name.

What if I told A Net that this is the password to my Chase bank account? lol

You guys would be surprised, I have literally never been referred to by a character name, it’s crazy; but thanks for the compliments and answering my question!
